Finding Our Voices: Lived experiences in human trafficking

Qualitative research project completed for the Department of Justice Canada.

Voice Found was one of thirteen organizations to receive funding from 2015 to 2021 through the MAPI project and the data collected over that time covered basic demographics, services used, and some outcomes. Last year, the Department of Justice Canada contracted Voice Found to provide community-based research to better understand the lives of individuals involved in the sex trade and the results of that research are now available.

This research project provides a more complete picture of the why and how of both entering and exiting sex trafficking.
